Toronto based group, featuring, charismatic and versatile lead singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur Steve Holliday, will soon be releasing, Monster on Parade on RatBastardRecords.

This CD includes 12 dynamic songs’ guaranteed to take you on a musical journey. It’s my third major release. Previous CD’s, Eye of the Hurricane (Outlaw Records) and, Stark Raving Mad (Warner Brothers) achieved great success, charting No.1 and top 10.

All our songs are written from real life experiences. love/hate/war/peace/politics/home life/work and relationships.The band name " THE SEED " was inpired by these events. One thought or event can change our lives forever.

Since it’s pre release, Monster on Parade is receiving awesome reviews.

Al Joynes, of Q107 FM Toronto, has been quoted as saying, " Steve’s vocals could tilt the CN Tower ".

Lead vocalist Steve Holliday has always felt a strong connection to his historic roots. This is attributed to the fact that he is a blood relative of the legendary wild west outlaw, " Doc Holliday of Tombstone, Arizona ". Strangely I was driven to build, with my own two hands, an authentic Wild West Town. One day my lead guitar player brought over a magazine with some old Wild West photos. In there was a photo that read, " This is what Dodge City looked like when Doc Holliday stepped off the stage coach". We were amazed at the similarities between Docville and Dodge City, considering I just started building the town out of my own minds eye, before even seeing any photos. Hmmmm.

This unique town has become a popular movie set with the steady flow of film shoots, commercials, and music videos, bringing famous actors like Ben Affleck and Diane Lane in the movie Hollywoodland, as well as international singer songwriter and Grammy award winner Feist, to name but a few to Docville.

Owning a wild west film set and being a front man for an international rock band has enabled me to meet many celebrities, eg. the late great, Gino Empry, heavy weight publicist and manager to some of the biggest stars in the music and film industry. He became a mentor and a good friend.

I want to thank my producer, the world renowned, multi talented Harold Hess of Vespa Music. Together we have created a monster. MONSTER on PARADE.

At the end of the day, music is what we live for! We crave the attention of the stage.
